CJPS Enterprises Announces a Series of Seminars on Automotive Diversification

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- CJPS Enterprises, LLC (www.CJPS-Enterprises.com ) announces that its CEO Christophe Sevrain will be holding mini-seminars and interactive discussions about the challenges and opportunities for companies serving the automotive industry to expand their product and service offerings to medical devices. Sevrain is the 20-year veteran medical devices executive who created Delphi Medical Systems' growth from no revenues to hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue bookings in less than a year.

Unlike other seminars, these will be held throughout the state and by someone who has actually transitioned an automotive company into the medical devices industry, and quickly created very significant jobs and revenues in the process. "Although both industries seem similar in what they need from an engineering and a manufacturing standpoint, most companies trying to embark on this diversification initiative have been struggling to add to their revenues" states Sevrain, a serial entrepreneur for over 20 years in the medical devices industry.

CJPS Enterprises was assigned by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to offer such seminars to Michigan companies interested in learning about what it takes to be successful in this transformation journey as part of the Life Sciences Pipeline initiative. The project was created through the $2 billion 21st Century Jobs Fund to assist companies within or entering the healthcare sector.

"There are a lot of strategic moves -- from licensing technologies (in both directions), to creating alliances, and marketing our specific and relevant local competencies -- that need to be executed to be successful," Sevrain continues. "One of the most current miscalculations companies make is to assume that the medical devices industry values the same things as the automotive industry," he adds.

This "road show", which will start next month in Southeast Michigan, will travel to most of Michigan's regions until the end of the year. More one-on- one activities and consulting will take place with interested companies to assist them in obtaining measurable results rapidly. With the right roadmap, Sevrain believes companies can make the transition which will positively impact their community and their bottom line.

Specific topics will cover intellectual property strategies and tactics, an overview of the medical device industry segments, commercialization and distribution, and other very practical and proven actions that companies should take to create short-term revenues and profits.

CJPS Enterprises, LLC is a global hands-on consulting firm that specializes in facilitating breakthrough growth for healthcare companies through entrepreneurial leadership, strategy development and plan execution. The firm leverages its deep expertise in intellectual property management, unique industry rolodex(R), experience in setting up powerful strategic alliances and innovative business development approach to generate very rapid and sustainable growth.
