Gene Brown of American Suzuki to Outline Ambitions at June 3 MPG Luncheon


LOS ANGELES, May 29 /PRNewswire/ -- On Tuesday, June 3, 2008, The Motor Press Guild (MPG), America's largest professional automotive media association, will feature at its monthly luncheon Gene Brown, vice president of marketing and public relations, Automotive Operations American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC). Brown will discuss Suzuki's product ambitions and future brand strategy including the new Equator pickup and the recently revealed Concept Kizashi 3 sports sedan. Suzuki is aggressively making a name for itself in the U.S. market with an evolving product line that includes right-sized, attractive vehicles with incredible value.

Brown, 40, joined American Suzuki in March 2006 and is responsible for ASMC's efforts to build brand image and awareness among consumers and the media. He oversees all aspects of marketing including advertising, promotions, media planning, press events, and auto shows along with ASMC's fleet and remarketing efforts.
